Buyers be Cautious
|
Buyers be cautious. As secretary of Auburn Bible Chapel I have ordered toner cartridges and toner drums for our copy machine. The first order came and everything was fine. The next order using the church card resulted in a fraud on that card a few days later. The next order after that using a new church charge card that was issued to me resulted in a fraud on that church a few days after the order. I called Sun Data and they assured me their site was secure. I decided to trust again and ordered using my personal charge card. Two days later there was a fraud on that card. It's impossible for this to be just a coincidence. Either the site has lost its security or someone within the company has used those cards in a fraudulent manner. On a positive note the products have always been in good condition, good prices and shipped on time.

Debbie,
As I stated in my personal email to you earlier today, I’m so sorry that you’ve had to go through this. We did find a vulnerability that was exploited in a program that resides on our server. Although our website is constantly monitored this program was not. We have since fixed it and put monitoring in place.
I know how much of a hassle it is to have fraud on your card because it’s happened to me recently.
As I said in my email to you, if you’d like to continue to order from us, I’d be happy to extend you 30 day terms, whereby instead of placing the order with a card, you would call it in or email it to us and we would send you an invoice. Also, we would take 20% off of your next order.
Again, I truly apologize for all of the inconvenience this has caused you.
Sincerely,
Foster Brashear
President
